How can I help you?
As a Clinical Psychologist with over 8 years of experience working with adults, children, adolescents and families I am qualified in providing therapy tailored to meet your needs. I am skilled in using different models of evidence based therapy including: Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), systemic family therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness. I usually mix these models together to provide a bespoke therapy which is matched to your own needs and goals.
I will provide you with a safe space where you are listened to, non-judgementally and it is your time to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with. I aim to build a therapeutic relationship with you so we can work together collaboratively and at your pace. You are the expert in you and your experience. I will bring with me tools, techniques, strategies from evidence based psychological models, to provide you with help, support and advice to overcome your difficulties and reach your goals.
What can I expect?
I offer talking therapy in London Bridge or online, making it easier for you to access therapy at a time and place convenient to you. Sessions usually last for 50 minutes and there is no minimum commitment. I can offer short term (one - six sessions), or long term therapy based on your needs and goals. Usually sessions are weekly at first but this can be flexible based on your needs over time.
Your first appointment
In our initial session we will talk about your concerns, understand what may have led up to where you are now and make a plan for how therapy can help you to overcome these difficulties. I will work alongside you and support you to make the changes you want to make in line with your goals. I offer the space to explore new ways of managing difficulties and practical strategies that make a difference in the long term.
What we talk about in sessions is confidential and is not shared with other parties. If I was worried about your wellbeing I would only share the necessary information, for example with your GP, to help keep you or others safe.
